Español: Instituciones y personalidades se han sumado esta mañana a familiares y amigos para rendir un sentido homenaje a Ángel Nieto, campeón mundial de motociclismo e hijo adoptivo de Madrid en un acto organizado por su familia con la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Madrid y el Consejo Superior Deportes. Desde el Pabellón de los Jardines de Cecilio Rodríguez, del Parque de El Retiro, la alcaldesa de Madrid, Manuela Carmena ha destacado la personalidad “excepcional” del campeón “12+1”, “su pasión y su bondad”. La ciudad de Madrid, “donde pasó su infancia y se fraguó su pasión, necesita muchas personas como él y no le olvidará nunca”, manifestó la alcaldesa, en unas palabras que también repasaron otros aspectos de “quien fue capaz de poner a España en un lugar impensable del motociclismo internacional”. |
