English: Maes-y-Betws, Cwm Doethie Fawr, Ceredigion. The ruins are of a former "one night house" probably finally abandoned in the 1920s.
Edit: No they're not. A thriving farm was documented here at least as early as 1671, long before "one night houses" were springing up in the late eighteenth and early 19th centuries. |
