Deutsch: Am 26. Februar 1994 wurde der Obdachlose Wolfgang Tschernutter vor dem Hallenbad Höttinger Au in Innsbruck von zwei Jugendlichen attackiert und so schwer verletzt, dass er wenige Tage später in der Innsbrucker Klinik verstarb. Das vom Kramsacher Künstler Alois Schild gestaltete Mahnmal soll daran erinnern. Es steht heute an der Franz-Gschnitzer-Promenade hinter dem Hauptgebäude der Universität Innsbruck.
English: On February 26, 1994, the homeless Wolfgang Tschernutter was attacked by two teenagers in front of the Höttinger Au indoor swimming pool in Innsbruck and injured so badly that he died a few days later in hospital in Innsbruck. The memorial designed by Kramsach artist Alois Schild should remind us of his death. Today it is located on the Franz-Gschnitzer-Promenade behind the main building of the University of Innsbruck. |
