Description
English: Map of the Popham Colony in Southern Maine as drawn by John Hunt, 1607. This map was found in the Spanish National Archives in 1888 and may be a copy of the original. Apparently a spy had sold it to the Spanish Ambassador who then sent it to his government. Notice small drawing of pinnace "Virginia".
