Christopherson from Marine Attack Squadron 223 (VMA-223) Det.T "Centurions" change a strut of a Douglas A-4C Skyhawk aboard the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Yorktown (CVS-10). VMA-223 Det.T was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 55 (CVSG-55) aboard the Yorktown for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Vietnam from 22 October 1964 to 17 May 1965.
