Marsh, manufacturier de chaussures. La maison possède de nombreuses qualités décoratives et formelles. L'architecte a fait appel à différents types de matériaux pour le parement extérieur. Le style de la demeure est influencé par l'architecture néo-romane américaine ainsi que par les livres de modèles. L'édifice a logé durant plusieurs années l'École des sciences domestiques de l'Université Laval avant d'être transformé en restaurant.
