Description
Français : Description : Vue en direction nord-ouest de la façade du 635 Grande Allée Est, Québec. Le marchand, James Brodie, se fait construire cette résidence, d'inspiration Second Empire, en 1893 selon les plans de l'architecte Harry Staveley. Ce dernier a conçu un type de façade qui se distinguait de celles alors existantes sur la rue. La superposition de trois grandes fenêtres coiffées d'un pignon débordant la mansarde ne manquait pas d'originalité à l'époque.
