Description : La maison Dix-Hodgson présente un intérêt patrimonial en raison notamment de son architecture en lien avec son implantation dans le plan de lotissement de Victoria Park. À la fin du 19e siècle, la municipalité de Saint-Lambert reste encore largement un espace agricole. En 1889, un développement suburbain d'envergure prend forme à Saint-Lambert : Victoria Park. De petits lots de 50 pieds de front par environ 100 pieds de profondeur y sont immédiatement proposés aux acheteurs. Le dessinateur mécanique Harry James Dix, aussi identifié comme dessinateur de locomotives, et son épouse Bolina F. Hodgson se font construire cette maison bourgeoise en 1892 sur l'un de ces lots.
