Description : La maison Ross, même si elle s'inspire de la première Renaissance française, est plus proche de l'œuvre américaine de Price que de ses réalisations canadiennes. Sa forme compacte, la richesse de sa décoration extérieure et les nombreuses sculptures taillées trouve meilleure ressemblance dans des œuvres comme la maison Wesson (Massachusetts) que dans le Château Frontenac ou la gare Viger. En 1948, l'Université McGill acquiert la maison grâce à un don et y installe la faculté de droit. (Source : François Rémillard, Brian Merrett.
