Français : Autres titres : Manoir Montmorency;Hôtel Kent;Kent House;2490, avenue Royale, Québec. Description : Érigée en 1781, il s'agit de la première villa de style palladien au Canada. Le Manoir Montmorency, cœur d'un empire commercial, puis un luxueux hôtel prisé par l'aristocratie et aujourd'hui un établissement touristique à vocation patrimoniale, regorge d'histoire et d'anecdotes méconnues du grand public. Le manoir a été habité par le gouverneur général du Canada de l'époque, Frederick Haldimand. Il est habité ensuite par le duc de Kent de 1791 à 1794, le père de la reine Victoria. D'abord appelé « Kent House », le manoir est détruit par un incendie en 1993 ; il sera reconstruit dès l'année suivante.
