English: This is using a traditional cooker to make corn porridge in Dongping County, Shandong, China. Locally, this kind of corn porridge is called Hudou (IPA:xu˥.toʊ), which is one of the traditional foods in western Shandong. Traditional corn porridge usually uses coarser corn flour, which can be seasoned by adding soybean, cabbage, coriander, celery, mung bean, sweet potato, flixweed, carrot, etc.
中文（简体）：山东东平正在使用传统的灶具熬制的玉米粥。这种玉米粥是鲁西的传统食物之一，在当地被称作糊粥/糊豆（ 国际音标：xu˥.toʊ）。糊豆通常指这种玉米粥，有时也指一种小米粥。玉米糊豆通常用较粗的玉米粉颗粒熬成。可向其中添加大豆、绿豆、红薯、红薯叶、红薯干、花生、荠菜、米米蒿、胡萝卜、槐米、菠菜、白菜等进行调味，通常加入菜叶的叫做菜糊豆、加入盐的叫咸糊豆。图中熬制的是没有加入其它蔬菜的糊豆。
