English: Push-pull train of Makies AG Gettnau. The train consists of two former Südostbahn BDe 4/4 multiple units (on this picture BDe 576 057 at the front and BDe 576 056 at the rear) and nine hopper cars (Falls-t type). The train can carry about 470 metric tons of gravel or sand. Along the hopper cars there is a cable connecting the two multiple units, allowing both units to be controlled by a single driver. The train is operated by SRT (Swiss Rail Traffic).
Deutsch: Kies-Pendelzug der Makies AG Gettnau. Der Zug besteht aus zwei ehemaligen BDe 4/4 der Südostbahn (BDe 576 057 vorne und BDe 576 056 hinten) und neun Kieswagen des Typs Falls-t. Der Zug kann etwa 470 Tonnen Sand oder Kies transportieren. Die beiden Triebwagen sind über ein Vielfachsteuerungskabel verbunden. EVU ist SRT (Swiss Rail Traffic). |
