Description
English: Remnant of medieval motte of the small Malčice Castle, at the Várhegy ("Castle hill") site in Malčice. The Malčice Castle is known from written records from 1470 and the 16th century, and was demolished by the end of the 17th century. The funeral chapel of the Szentiványi family (Chapel of the Holy Cross) was built on the former motte in 1779. Photos from July 2016.
Slovenčina: Pozostatok stredovekého opevneného kopca Malčického hrádku, na lokalite Várhegy ("Hradný kopec") v Malčiciach. Malčický hrádok je známy z písomných zmienok z roku 1470 a 16. storočia, a bol zbúraný do konca 17. storočia. Na bývalom opevnenom kopci bola v roku 1779 postavená pohrebná kaplnka rodu Szentiványiovcov (Kaplnka sv. Kríža). Zábery z júla 2016.
