English: Maldon Wick Path. When I took this picture I was sure I was on the track-bed of the old Maldon to Woodam Ferrers railway line http://www.esscrp.org.uk/crouch_valley_line/history/history.php however the map indicates this may have been the footpath that ran along side the railway. Rather irrelevant now as this is definitely part of 1322002 nature reserve owned by Essex Wildlife Trust. To learn more about the reserve see http://www.essexwt.org.uk/visitor_centres__nature_reserves/maldon_wick/ the pink flowers on the left are 1319900 |
