Deutsch: Am Weg von Ascholtshausen in Richtung Stofflach steht dieses Steinkreuz kurz vor der Eisenbahnbrücke südlich am Straßenrand in einer Baumgruppe. Das schwere Flurkreuz aus grauem Granit steht auf abgetreppten Sockelsteinen. In schwarzer Schrift ist zu lesen: "Gott segne unsere Fluren" und darunter "Errichtet von Familie Murr 1964"
Das halbbogige Bronzerelief im Kreuzungspunkt zeigt eine Herz Jesu Darstellung. Jesus zeigt mit der linken Hand auf sein Herz und hält die rechte mit drei Fingern segnend auf Brusthöhe. Der Durchstich durch den Berg gleich daneben wurde im Jahre 1873 beim Bau der Eisenbahnverbindung von Landshut nach Regensburg durchgeführt. Vorher verlief die Strecke über Geiselhöring und Sünching und stellte einen Umweg dar. Mehrere Erdrutsche auf den darunterliegenden Tonablagerungen hatten den Baufortschritt verzögert. Der Bahnbau in der Gegend wurde als "Die Ascholtshauser Rutschn" bekannt. |
