Description

Steinerne Wolfssäule am Malterweg in der Dippoldiswalder Heide bei Malter mit folgender Inschrift:

„Ohnweit von hier in der Goldgrube ist dero 6. März 1802 ein Wolf, der seit 5 Jahren aus- und eingetrabt ist, 103 Pfund gewogen hat, in einem angestellten Jagen erschossen worden. Dieser Jagd haben beigewohnt: Jagdpage Herr Graf von Oertzen und Jagdpage Herr von Feilitzsch, Herr Oberaufseher Petzold, der Herr Oberhof-Jägermeister von Preuß, kurpfalzbairischer Gesander und Minister Herr von Lerchenfeld, welcher den Wolf totgeschossen hat, Cammer-Junker Herr von Preuß und Herr Revierförster Christian Gotthelf Ehrlich, von dem die Jagd dirigiret worden ist.“
