Description

Park Royal-bodied Leyland Atlantean, new to Manchester City Transport in March 1968 and preserved in it's original condition after being withdrawn from normal passenger service by Greater Manchester Transport in 1981.

These beauties are colloquailly known as Mancunians, and along with the Northern Counties-bodied GM Standard Atlanteans and Fleetlines truly represent this fine city of ours (in my eyes definitley!)

Taken on Wednesday 15th June at the Museum of Transport, this was on the 15th anniversary of the IRA bomb that ripped apart the very heart of Manchester.
