Kavrepalanchok District Panauti Municipality Ward No. 5 i.e. the famous Maneshwari temple located south east from Panauti bus park and west of Punyavati river. Maneshwari Devi is considered to be one of the Shaktipiths within Panauti. Maneshwari is also known as Barahi. Although there are no written facts about the construction period of this temple, it is mentioned in the Gopalraj genealogy that King Mandev worshiped Maneshwari Mai.

The rock inside the temple is worshiped as the symbol of Goddess Maneshwari. To the right and left of the idol of this goddess are the idols of other gods and goddesses. There is a wall and a board in the premises of this temple. Two artistic idols of Kumar and Ganesha are also placed in front of the two entry gates of the temple.
