English: Manningtree Station Booking Office This way to the Station. Manningtree on the main line from London Liverpool Street to Norwich. This was a real country junction but development in the 70s and electrification of the railway now means it's a very busy commuter station. Once the sign here stated Manningtree change for Harwich and the Continent. For those of us who used to travel through here the well-known statement was Harwich for the Continent and Frinton for the incontinent! |
