The manoor valley a small valley and union concil of mhandri of the balacot tehsil, in the north-east of mansehra district of the N.W.F.P province of pakistan it attracts many touristsfrom around the world . The inhabitants were affected by the earthquake disaster on 8 octber 2005. The manoor valley is named after the setth (IMAMNOOR KHAN) the founder of valley in 1892 in the bertish raaj. The region is alpine in geography and climate, with forests and meadows dominating the landscape below peaks that reach over 17,000 feet (5,200 m)
