The HON (Honiley) VOR-DME navigation aid is positioned to the south of the vehicle test track on the former RAF Honiley airfield (according to Wikipedia). In mid-afternoon planes were coming over every few minutes. Vehicles travelled this quiet lane at about the same frequency. |
