Español: Con las informaciones que Raleigh obtuvo durante sus viajes a Guayana, así como aquellas provenientes de documentos capturados en altamar por sus tropas, los interrogatorios que hizo a Berrio, además de las declaraciones hechas por Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa a las ingleses durante su captura en las Azores resulta improbable que Walter Raleigh no haya elaborado un mapa con todas estos datos. En el centro de este mapa que se le atribuye se aprecian claramente el lago y la ciudad de Manoa, en particular las letras "El Valle de Guayana”, en inglés (Guiana) que son similares, según algunos autores, a el trazo de aquellas escritas por el mismo en su poema " The Ocean’s Love to Cynthia". Este mapa de Raleigh estuvo perdido durante 273 años, hasta que el Museo Británico de Londres lo compró accidentalmente entre un lote de documentos antiguos en 1849. Por lo tanto este mapa no fue conocido por los exploradores Alexander Von Humboldt o Robert Schomburgk, quienes exploraron el continente sudamericano muy posiblemente tomando en cuenta notas de Raleigh.
