Summary

Description	Deutsch: Mirakelfresken in der Wallfahrtskirche Maria Steinbach: M. A. Bruggerin Gollberg [m8] Auf dem Bild ist ein gekentertes Schiff auf dem Bodensee erkennbar. Unter den Schiffbrüchigen in der Mitte des Bildes befindet sich die Bruggerin von Gollberg. Sie schwimmt auf dem Rücken und erhebt ihre Hände zur oben am Himmel erscheinenden Steinbacher Schmerzensmutter als ihrer letzten Hoffnung. Eigentlich sollte ihre Wallfahrt nach Maria Einsiedeln gehen, aber auf dem Bodensee entwickelte sich jäh ein Sturm und das Schiff mit 57 Personen kenterte. Aufgrund des Wallfahrtgelübdes, das sie in ihrer verzweifelten Lage macht, wird sie wundersam gerettet. Zeitpunkt des Geschehens ist die Fastenzeit 1734.
