English: April 21, 1796 St. Michael the Archangel Parish Church, erected by Padre Vicente de Talavera, started contruction in 1848, finished in 1868, burned on 1899, rebuit in 1902 and 1922 and finally in 1967 by Fr. Jose M.Salas. Feasts- May 7 and Sept. 29, Parish Priest, 28th Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Alberto D.J. Santiago, succeeding Fr. Avelino G. Santos; Parochial Vicar: Fr. Leopoldo Evangelista III[1] a hundred year old spiritual edifice in Poblacion I considered as “place markers” and serve as “points of orientation” to the local residents and visitors as well. [2] Roman Catholic Diocese of Malolos[3]Created: November 25, 1961. Erected: March 11, 1962. Comprises the civil province of Bulacan and the City of Valenzuela. Titular: Immaculate Conception, December 8.[4] (Lat: Dioecesis Malolosinae) is a diocese of the Latin Rite of the Roman Catholic Church in the Philippines. The motherchurch of the Diocese is the Malolos Cathedral located in Malolos City, Bulacan. The diocese was erected in 1961 from its metropolitan, the Archdiocese of Manila.
