English: Marine Drive
The photograph was taken from the most easterly (seaward) extent of the Marine Drive. Note the 'headless' lamp posts, which have had the lights removed to protect from winter storms. Note also the road surface constructed from concrete blocks, which although very noisy to drive over, are able to withstand damage from high seas.
