| Description |
English: Marine Drive The road round the headland is 100 years old this year. The new sea defences and white concrete wall which controversially replaced the previous iron railings a couple of years ago can clearly be seen.
Note also the evidence of landslips to the right of the road: the area above the red-roofed cafe was once a putting green but is now partly covered by soil and clay. |
