Description
English: Photo taken at the Royal Norwegian Navy Museum (Norwegian: Marinemuseet) in Horten:

Marinemuseet is one of the world's oldest naval museums. The navy museum was founded in 1853 and has been in the old magazine on Karljohansvern since 1864. The "old department" is somewhat retained, but the museum has later grown to more than 2.000 sqm, rich in information and close proximity to the many models and objects.

Norsk bokmål: Foto fra Marinemuseet i Horten, Norges nasjonale sjøforsvarsmuseum, grunnlagt i 1853 som et av verdens eldste marinemuseer, og med ustillinger på over 2000 kvdratmeter på Karljohansvern:
  • Utstillingsfigur iført en offiseruniform for Den Kongelige Norske Marines fra andre vedenskrig. Skyggelua (høylua) har luemerke foran med et brodert bekronet og omkranset ankersymbol som hovedemblem og skyggebroderi på lueskyggen, innført som distinksjon for stabsoffiserer fra 1942.
