Map oriented to the West. Map attributed to Georg Marggraf, from his map drawn up in 1643. Lower left part of a map published in 1647 in: Brasilia qua parte paret Belgis (Amsterdam, Blaeu): "Maritima Brasiliæ" forms part of the map in 9 sheets of irregular dimensions. Bottom left, cartridge with the motto of the Count of Nassau: Qua patet orbis.

1 map. In a collection. Bound in mottled brown calfskin (17th century), spine with 7 bands, gilded iron in the bands. Dishes decorated with a double golden fillet in the frame and a central golden medallion.

Carte orientée à l'Ouest. Carte attribuée à Georg Marggraf, d'après sa carte dressée en 1643. Partie inférieure gauche d'une carte publiée en 1647 dans : Brasilia qua parte paret Belgis (Amsterdam, Blaeu) : "Maritima Brasiliæ" forme une partie de la carte en 9 feuilles de dimensions irrégulières. En bas à gauche, cartouche avec la devise du Comte de Nassau : Qua patet orbis.

1 carte. Dans un recueil. Reliure veau brun jaspé (17e siècle), dos à 7 nerfs, fer dorés dans les entre nerfs. Plats décorés d'un double filet doré en encadrement et d'un médaillon central doré.
