Description
ქართული: ბუნების ძეგლი წარმოადგენს მდინარე აბაშის მიერ აბდათის კირქვული ქანებით აგებულ ანტიკლინში, კანიონისებურად გაჭრილ ხეობას. კანიონის სიგრძე 2400 მ-ია, ჩაჭრის სიღრმე 20-30 მ, ხოლო სიგანე 5-10 მ.

კანიონში ორ ადგილას არის შენახული კირქვის ბუნებრივი ხიდები, რაც იმის მანიშნებელია, რომ აქ ოდესღაც კარსტული მღვიმე ჩამოიშალა. გარდა ამისა, კანიონის შუა წელში წარმოიშობა 12-15 მ სიმაღლის ვარდნის მცირე ჩანჩქერები.
