MARYLAND NUT NURSERIES

Greenriver
This is a very beautiful nut of high quality .
The shell is thin and of golden color. It is
one of the aristocrats of the northern varie-
ties. The tree is beautiful and is one of the
most rapid growers.
Butterick
The Butterick has been bearing beyond
the memory of the oldest inhabitants in
White County, Illinois. It is a fine nut,
of the larger type, and the young trees
make a beautiful upright growth.
Major
This nut belongs to the same class with the Greenriver and Niblack as to size.
The parent tree is said to have borne fourteen consecutive annual crops. It is a
fine cracking pecan and is ideal for candy and confectionery purposes.
Warrick
This pecan belongs to the larger type of
northern pecans. It is a good annual
bearer. The tree makes fine willowy
growth.
Kentucky
The Kentucky tree grows on the banks
of the Ohio in Kentucky. It has a fine
bearing record. The nuts are beautifully

marked, good size and of fine quality.
