Description
Deutsch: Der Matatzer Waal wurde von 1862 bis 1865 erbaut, um die Höfe von Matatz (Gemeinde St. Martin in Passeier) mit Wasser zu versorgen. Er beginnt bei der Ulfaser Alm (Gemeinde Moos in Passeier), verläuft aber größtenteils auf dem Gemeindegebiet von St. Martin. Der Waal befindet sich im Naturpark Texelgruppe. Hier sieht man eine Waalschelle, ein Wasserrad mit einem Hammer, der fortlaufend gegen eine schaufelblattförmige Glocke schlägt.
