Bahasa Indonesia: Kompetisi Ganti Ilustrasi Berita KS
Karya ini terinspirasi dari pengamatan pribadi yang terjadi pada lingkungan terdekat yang menjadi korban kekerasan seksual yang kehilangan motivasi dan harapan untuk mewujudkan cita-cita di masa kecil. Hal ini juga diperkuat dengan adanya kanal berita online yang memapakarkan bahwa 80% anak korban kekerasan seksual mengalami putus sekolah. Penggunaan objek frame foto yang retak dan meleleh dengan siluet perempuan bertoga bertujuan untuk mengisyaratkan bahwa mimpi dan cita-cita anak korban kekerasan seksual dijegal bahkan direnggut oleh pelaku kekerasan seksual. Ilustrasi ini juga bertujuan untuk menyampaikan kritik ke media-media arus utama yang mayoritas menggunakan stok foto-foto gratis di internet, yang cenderung bersifat kronologis dan sangat menyudutkan korban dengan pengambaran ketidakberdayaan korban. |
