10th Century AD Ahar The fish represents the first incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The fish is shown here on the flower of the wish fulfilling Kalpa tree with Vaishnava attributes of lotus flower, mace, wheel and conch. The motifs of Vyala, elephant and makara, crocodile are also depicted here. Acc No 13
