Description
English: View of the Maunula Library in Helsinki. It is located in Maunula House, a multipurpose building (Dec. 2016), designed by architect Mikko Summanen from Arkkitehtitoimisto K2S. Maunula Library (est. 1957) is one of more than 35 local libraries of the Helsinki City Library. The library is also part of the HelMet library group, i.e. the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Libraries combining the public municipal libraries of Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen.
Suomi: Maunulan kirjaston julkisivua Helsingin Maunulassa. Kirjasto sijaitsee Maunula-talossa, joka on joulukuussa 2016 käyttöön otettu monitoimitalo. Rakennuksen pääsuunnittelija oli arkkitehti Mikko Summanen helsinkiläisestä Arkkitehtitoimisto K2S:sta. Maunulan kirjasto on perustettu vuonna 1957, ja on nykyään yksi Helsingin kaupunginkirjaston yli 35 toimipisteestä. Maunulan kirjasto on kaupunginkirjaston osana myös eräs pääkaupunkiseudun kaupunkien (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa ja Kauniainen) muodostaman Helmet-kirjastokimpan toimipisteistä.
