Description
Čeština: Maxim vzor 1910 byl ruský (poté sovětský) typ těžkého kulometu, jedna z verzí kulometu vynálezce Hirama Stevense Maxima. Kulomety stejného vzoru se vyráběly rovněž ve Velké Británii nebo Německu (MG 08). Exemplář této zbraně, vystavený v muzeu československých legií v Žamberku, náležel k výzbroji 2. roty (Vašátkovy) 1. československého střeleckého pluku.
English: The Maxim pattern 1910 was a Russian (then Soviet) type of heavy machine gun, one of the versions of the inventor Hiram Stevens' Maxim machine gun. Machine guns of the same pattern were also produced in Great Britain or Germany (MG 08). A specimen of this weapon, exhibited in the Czechoslovak Legions Museum in Žamberk, belonged to the armament of the 2nd Company (Vasátek's) of the 1st Czechoslovak Rifle Regiment.
