Description |
English: McGilvra School was named after John J. McGilvra, a pioneer lawyer in Seattle. The school was built on land purchased from McGilvra in 1913. Located in the Madison Park neighborhood, the original brick building had nine rooms, four teachers, and 155 students in first through seventh grades.
