Title
English: Measuring Major Soil Erosion at Devil’s Den
Description
English:

Center-frame is a top-down view of concrete road leading vertically from the bottom to the top of the frame. To the left at a lower elevation on the side of the road is a man with a tape measure. The tape measure is stretching out horizontally to about the center of the road. The distance from the tip of the measure to the end of the pavement is about 19 inches.

A park ranger uses a tape measure to show how drastic the erosion has been at Devil’s Den. The erosion in this area is so bad that the concrete sidewalk has been undermined by nearly two feet in depth.
