Português: Medieval panagiarion, with arched arcades, 14th century, from the treasury of Medieval Serbian Dečani monastery, located in Kosovo and Metohija province, southern Serbia.

It is made of antler, covered with silver and decorated with filigree, embossing and carving techniques. In the center is depicted figure of Mary, mother of Jesus, with hands lifted and palms turned forward. In front of her is figure of the child Christ, holding a book in left hand, while blessing with his right hand. Composition of Christ and his Moher is framed with 20 arched arcades, each containing carved bust of a saint or angel, some of them holding the Gospels. Above the head of Christs mother is small frame in which once stood semi-precious stone. Dimensions – diameter 15 cm. Panagiarion is part of the accessories of orthodox bishops, pendant icon attached to the chain and worn around the neck. Collection of Museum of Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade. Dečani is medieval monastery build in 14th century by Serbian king Stefan Dečanski and his son emperor Dušan the Mighty. Construction was finished between 1327 ad 1335. The monastery is famous for decorative carvings of Biblical scenes and fantastic beasts, marble sculptures and architecture which is mixture of Byzantine and western European artistic influences. Frescoes from Dečani interior represent the largest preserved original gallery of Medieval Serbian art // Srednjovekovna artosna panagija sa lučnim arkadama, 14. vek, iz riznice srednjovekovnog srpskog, Манастир Високи Дечани - Visoki Dečani Monastery, koji se nalazi na Kosovu i Metohiji, južna Srbija. Izrađena je od roga, okovana srebrom i ukrašena tehnikama filigrana, iskucavanja i urezivanja. U središtu je prikazana Bogorodica, sa podignutim rukama i dlanovima okrenutim napred. Ispred nje se nalazi figura Hristosa kao dedeta, koji u levoj ruci drži knjigu, a desnom blagosilja. Kompozicija Hristosa i Bogorodice je uokvirena sa 20 lučnih arkada, u kojima su izrezbarena poprsja svetitelja i anđela, od kojih pojedini drže Jevanđelja. Iznad glave Bogorodice je okvir u kojem je nekada stajao poludragi kamen. Dimenzije – prečnik 15 cm. Panagija je deo odežde episkopa, naprsna ikonica koja se nosi oko vrata, zakačena za lanac. Zbirka Muzeja Srpske pravoslavne crkve u Beogradu.

Dečani su srednjovekovni manastir koji su u 14. veku sagradili srpski kralj Stefan Dečanski i njegov sin kralj, a potom i car Dušan silni. Gradnja je završena između 1327. i 1335. godine. Manastir je Čuven po arhitekturi i ukrasnim reljefima biblijskih scena i fantastičnih zveri, u kojima su objedinjeni uticaji vizantijskih i zapadnoevropskih umetničkih tradicija. Dečanske freske predstavljaju najveću očuvanu galeriju srednjovekovne srpske umetnosti
