Description

SANTA RITA, Guam-(May 20, 2013) – Meet Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Marianas contract specialist Ciana Taitano who hails from Chalan Pago, Guam. She began her career with NAVFAC as an intern. The University of Guam graduate says she enjoys working for NAVFAC, and the daily challenges the job has to offer. "I like the fact that I am part of a team that builds things," said Taitano. On May 19-25, approximately 10,000 NAVFAC public works professionals will celebrate National Public Works Week, an initiative that seeks to raise the public's awareness about public works issues and public works employees like Taitano who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for future generations.
