Der Königssohn von Kalydon, Meleager, bringt Atalante als Zeichen seiner Zuneigung den Kopf des erlegten Kalydonischen Ebers dar, der zuvor als Untier das Land verwüstete. Die Darstellung der Tiere wurde sehr wahrscheinlich von dem Stilllebenmaler Frans Snyders gemalt. |
