Melita palmata (Montagu, 1804)


English: Benthic amphipod, taken with a Leica DFC 490 camera mounted on a Leica M205C binocular microscope. This is an intertidal species found among algae and hydroids. The male has a characteristically large second gnathopod. Collected in 2011 at the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium. Collected at 51°21′3.15″N 3°13′10.63″E / 51.350875°N 3.2196194°E / 51.350875; 3.2196194.
Length = ~7 mm
Focus stacking of 27 pictures.
