English: Elements of the 5th Special Forces, Det B-422, at Chau Doc Province, RVN, 120 miles southwest of Saigon, in preparation for a possible flood disaster in the Me Kong Delta area, built a refugees rest camp in the slopes of Nui Sam Mountains. Members of the detachment were on a standby alert. During this operation, members of the Special Forces detachment treated hundreds of refugees, victims of the flood swollen river. A Navy enlisted man, Larry R. Gay and LT JG Levi N.
