English: Wiki for Minorites, a subsidiary of the Wikimedia Foundation, is initiative projected towards the minorities or those perceived to be minorities, thereby bridging the gap of equality. It arises in the line of collaborative work, creation of contents, wider visibility on cultural rights and its protection, environmental preservation, and dissemination of expressions of tangible and intangible, visible and invincible events/programmes such as cultural heritage, political activities, educational, historical, pictorial, grassroot programmes, etc., which includes Persons with Disabilities.
The Wiki for Minorities Project is aimed at creating an impactful awareness and giving global presence to minorites in our societies.
