中文：电影《记忆碎片》关键事件的基本情节，本事顺序/时间顺序与情节顺序/电影顺序对比。
电影交替呈现酒店房间电话的黑白片段（正确的时间顺序，蓝线）和主要动作的彩色片段（每个片段在前一个片段开始的地方结束，红线）。 本图只绘出了电影的本事线和电影的情节线以及二者的顺序，没有细分众多的闪回场景（有萨米·詹基斯、詹基斯夫人和伦纳德的妻子）。标有 “S”、“5”、“6”、“7”、“8”、“O”、“9”、“K”、“J”、“15”、“E”、“D”、“21”、“22”和“A”的部分都有这种闪回（“O”部分的闪回发生在伦纳德的梦中）。在彩色画面中出现的闪回也是彩色的，在黑白画面中出现的闪回也是黑白的，只有“22”例外，在这个黑白画面中的闪回是彩色的（之后宝丽来照片在伦纳德的手中显影，画面从黑白线性过渡到彩色）。 本图以电影时间为轴，未画出一条长达三天两夜的时间线，也未画出那些大量的向未来跳跃的时间，例如主角晚上坐在篝火旁烧他妻子的纪念品，镜头切到他在日出后离开篝火。 |
