English: Memorial Plaque for L.W Brabazon-Rees VC, MC Lionel Rees, the son of a local solicitor and grandson of the editor of Yr Herald Gymraeg, was born in Castle Street. He won both the MC and VC during WWI. After retiring from the RAF he moved to the West Indies and married an Afro-Caribbean wife.
