English: Veteran's Memorial at triangular intersection near Kudankita 1-chome and Waseda Dori, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. Inscription reads: 南十字の星の下 身を捧げた友のあゆんだ途は遠く険しかった 

 今は昔ながらの故国に生きて 立ち直る国の礎となっている御霊に限りない敬意と溢れる愛情を覚え不変の石に心をこめて 亡き友よ永遠に安かれと祈って此処にこれを建てる

   昭和39年(1964)11月3日   濠北方面戦没者慰霊会 and was taken from here
