English: The tower was reinforced for the safe ringing of its bells and ancient curfew in loving memory of the life and work of Charles Henry Hylton Stewart for twelve years precentor and later for six years honorary canon of this cathedral. Born 20 May 1849. Entered into rest 7 April 1922.
