Priest Vicar of St Andrew the Less Cambridge 1869 to 1877. For 48 years Canon Residentiary and successively Chancellor and SubDean of this Cathedral Church. Vicar of St Nicholas with St John Newport in this City 1902 to 1919. Sometime chaplain to the county and city hospitals. A life long worker in the cause of education and unfailing in his devotion to the service of his fellow men. Born 16 July 1841. Died 23 May 1925. Laid to rest in Eastgate Cemetery. |
