English: Memorial to John the Shepherd, near Ty'n Cornel, Ceredigion The stone is situated to the side of the track in a small enclosure. Sadly, John passed away here in his Landrover while checking on his sheep.
Update: The shepherd who followed on from John Jones, helping Bill Busk with the shepherding until about the year 2000 was Aza Pinney, a very gentlemanly character, and ex-Liberal politician, who has now passed away in January of 2010. http://www.k9tales.co.uk/component/content/article/140-sad-death-of-trials-stalwart.html |
