This image shows Sharpie class yachts on the beach in front of the Port Lincoln Yacht Club. The jetty in the background, Brennen Jetty, is the main shipping wharf in Port Lincoln.

Source: Mr Brian Hutt, of Axel Stenross Maritime Museum, Port Lincoln, identified the location of the site shown in this photograph. Hutt wrote to the Director of the History Trust of South Australia, Margaret Anderson, on 14 May 2008.

Images in the sequence beginning from GN14000 share characteristics common to the 1950s. The clothing shown in the photograph is typical of the period.
